“Banyan” often specifically denominates Ficus benghalensis (the “Indian banyan”), which is the national tree of the Republic of India.

Afforestation: There are several hectors of land that were forest never before. Still today these places are barren or unused or non yielding. These can be used for plantation of local flora.

Reforestation: We humans have left nothing unexploited. Forest have been suffering most from ages and today they can withstand no more sufferings. We can use seedball techniques and plantation programmes for increasing number of trees in this forest.
